Bookings - Important Suggestions for Bookings
Here are some point and suggestions you need to take care of while you are booking a trip
Booking the tour:
  1. Read your tour carefully before finalizing it. Check the elevations and heights in particular to avoid a health breakdown. Also check the climatic conditions which will prevail in that particular region.
  2. Vaccinations are necessary and carry enough Iodine or filter to clean your drinking water while in adventure tour.
  3. Wear environmental friendly clothes and carry less stuff with you.
  4. Larger groups make larger Mess, if in a large group try to walk in one trail and avoid trampling on flowers, grass, and herbs.
  5. Don’t make a noise, remember you left the city to experience some thing different so try to feel the silence in the winds and nature
  6. Watch birds and wild animals from a distance, as they find quick moments. And loud noise can make them in stress and to avoid the area. This will spoil the opportunity for nature lovers.
  7. Make no open camp fires and also suggest others to avoid it, in order to protect the nature and keeping environment clean.
  8. Avoid carrying canned or tined food and leave nothing behind at the camp site, Carry all the non-biodegrables with you and bury the food wastes.
  9. Do not use soaps or detergents in the streams or rivers.
  10. Do not pluck flowers, or carry seeds and roots of the plants.
  11. Acclimatize yourself and your body before starting a trek, in order to avoid altitude sickness and illness. Consult your doctor always before leaving to trek above the altitude level of 2000 Mts.
  12. Always ask for weather conditions prevailing in the tour in which you have booked yourself in order to know what to bring and what not, Pack wisely and carry less while trekking it will help you in enjoying your Trip.
Trekking Tips
  1. Well fitting strong Shoes with a couple of woollen socks. The shoes should be used before trekking as to avoid blisters
  2. First all set for Minor accidents and sickness
  3. A raincoat is necessary to meet uncertainties of weather
  4. Chocolate, Lozenges, Candies, glucose and dry fruits provide extra pep of energy
  5. It is advisible not to exhaust energy by walking fast, as otherwise the trek will be not enjoyable for you
  6. In most of the treks, the distance is approximate and it is extremely difficult to measure distance up and down. The time given in each day is also an Average which is calculated and measured as per the previous tours and Treks.
  7. Respect the nature, local culture and traditions, always ask your local guide before entering the religious places, do follow the local customs in order to make yourself people Friendly.
Cultural Shocks & Suggestions
  1. Be Aware of the Behaviour of the others around you in social situations.
  2. Removes your shoes while entering the Temple and religious places and in many cases when entering some ones house.
  3. Treat elders with special respect.
  4. Dress appropriately for the events you are attending.
  5. Use the Shopkeepers Interest in making “first sale of the morning” to get yourself a good deal
  6. Make purchase once the shopkeeper has accepted your price after Bargaining
  7. Dress more conservative outside the Major urban areas
  8. Take precautions to make sure that drinking water is safe
  9. Take normal precautions with money and other valuables
  10. Do not use left hand to eat, hand over food, money and gifts or important documents
  11. Donot treat religious ceremonies as entertainment, though music and dance be a partr of that ceremony
  12. Don’t smoke without Asking.
  13. Wear Indian Garments in appropriate ways.
  14. Do not show excessive Physical signs to the opposite sex as a greeting.
  15. Do not shake hands or kiss some one of the opposite sex as a greeting.
