Lahaul & Spiti are the two Remote Himalayan Valleys of Himachal Pradesh lying on the Indo-Tibetan Border. These Valleys are unsurpassed in the splendor of their snow-covered peaks. The climate is Dry and very cold. The whole valley is surrounded by High Mountains on all the sides, Great Himalayas to the north and the Pir-Panjal on the south. Lahaul and Spiti is also a Fascinating area for the Buddhist art and culture. The Monasteries of Lahaul & Spiti are rich repositories of ancient murals, Thanka’s, woodcarving and golden images of the Padma Sambhava. The peoples are charming, friendly and hospitable with their own Traditional dances, Ballads, folk tales and legends. The valley lies at the height of 2745 Meters above the sea level. Summers in these valleys are cool and pleasant with green grass and alpine flowers and an abundance of crops. There is no Monsoon in Lahaul and Spiti as it enables climbers and trekkers to enjoy a long and unbroken season in perpetual sunshine and dry crisp air of Lahaul & Spiti and explore the wilderness and grandeur of the Inner Himalayas. »   Bhaba Pass Trek (21 Days)

(Manali-Spiti -Lingti Valley-Pin Valley-Kinnaur-Shimla) This is one of the most spectacular trek crossing through the Lingti valley, Pin valley and than entering the beautiful Kinnaur after crossing Bhaba Pass (4880 Mts). Easy trek not much risk involved, a few stream crossings but high altitude fitness is required, as Lingti Valley and pin Valley is very dry and problems of dehydration can be seen and one has to cry plenty of water with him on a few days. Best season to do this trek is between Mid-June to-September.

This trek commences from the Tiny Hamlet of Batal in the Lahaul Spiti valley. Situated at the base of the mighty Kunzam-La, Batal is the starting Point for the Chander-Tal (Lake of Moon) where the first night’s camp is placed. From here the path Crosses two streams and then enter’s Lahaul and than into Zanskar via the Phirtse La and Shingo-La two of the few high passes. Finally Darcha in Lahaul is reached from where surface transport is available for Manali.
