People & religion: - Nepalese people are mainly divided into Two distinct groups Indo Aryans and Mangoloids. Kathmandu valley is the spiritual and cultural meeting point of all these groups. Nepal is the only Hindu Kingdom in the world. Hindu temples and Buddhist shrines are scattered all over the Kingdom. Nepal is the Birth place of Lord BUDDHA, the light of Asia. Currency: Nepali Notes come in Rs 1, Rs.2, Rs.5, Rs10, Rs.20, Rs.50, Rs.100, Rs.500, and Rs.1000, Denominations. Coins come in 5p, 25p, 50p and Rs1 Denominations. Foreign currency must be exchanged only through the banks or Authorized Foreign exchange dealers. Only 15% of the currency exchanged can be converted into foreign exchange at the time of departure.

Everest Region
In the Everest region lies the worlds highest peak “Mt.Everest” (8848 m), traditionally known as “Sagarmatha”-Head Reaching the sky or “Chomolungma”-Mother Goddess. In this region lies the other Highest Peaks like Chooyu (8153 m), Lhotse (8511 m), Makalu (8470 m). The region is home of Sherpa’s and Tibetan Buddhism.
