In the
Everest region lies the worlds highest peak “Mt.Everest” (8848
m), traditionally known as “Sagarmatha”-Head
Reaching the sky or “Chomolungma”-Mother Goddess.
In this region lies the other Highest Peaks like Chooyu (8153
m), Lhotse (8511 m), Makalu (8470 m). The region is home of
Sherpa’s and Tibetan Buddhism. This region has more than

Exciting trek in the Everest region gives you the
opportunity to fulfill a dream, while taking in some
of the most breathtaking scenery in the Himalaya.
Ever since the days of early climbing expeditions
the 8848 Mts Mountains has had a lure of its own, drawing
climbers to scale it and trekkers to gaze on its
ice faces. Naturally the trail to the base camp
has become most popular trekking routes in NEPAL.
During the trek, we follow the main Everest Base
camp trail, the route pioneered and still used by
many climbing expeditions. |

This trek follows the old and ancient
Route of Mt.Everest, Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing
Sherpa had taken the same route in 1952. A seven
Hour drive take you to Jiri from where the trek
starts. The route passes through the Sherpa Villages
of Solukhumbu Area, through beautiful forests, Farming
Countryside’s, and several Monasteries. In
this route the trekkers have the opportunity to
climb “KALAPATHAR” The
Base of Everest which offers the Superb view of
Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, and other mountain
region. |
