Lang tang is a remote isolated valley close to the Tibetan
Border and is closed by snow capped mountains that culminate
in the peak of Lang tang (7246 M) the “TAMANG”
whose religious practice closely resembles those of the People

HELAMBU, About 70 Kms North east from Kathmandu is noted for
its scenic Grandeur and pleasant Climate the Helambu Region,
Extending from North of Taramarang to the tree Limit of the
Gosain Kund Lake and lower slopes of Jugal Himal Has several

Langthang Valley Trek (10 Days) |
|
On this Trek, We start in the lower
Langthang Valley, Trekking through its forests and
among the villages and farmlands of its people,
many of who are Tibetan origins. Once an important
trading route with Tibet, this Influence is reflected
in the Character of the Villages and peoples. During
the part of trek, you will be walking through the
National park, and though the wildlife is never
easy to spot in a forest setting, there are chances
of seeing some interesting animals and birds. Among
those found are monkeys, Musk dear, Pika and the
national Bird of Nepal, the colorful Danphe. From
Langthang Village the trek continues to Kyangjin
Gompa (3740 Mts). This is the site of the Yala Cheese
Factory. |

» Langtang-Gosaikund Lake Trek
(15 Days) |
|
Langthang is the Remote Isolated valley
close to the Tibetan Frontier and is enclosed by
Snow Crapped Mountains that Culminate in the Peak
of Langthang Lirung (7246 Mts). The tamang whose
religious practices closely resemble those of the
people of Tibetan inhabits the area. We trek through
Larch and Rhododendron Forests that are abundant
with flowers and birdlife making this trek particularly
attractive in the springtime. We leave the Valley
by ascending past the holy Lakes of Gosaikund to
enter Helambu via Laurebina Pass (4610 Mts). From
here you can see Manalsu, Ganesh Himal and even
as far as the Annapurna Massif. A series of Undulating
ridges offers delightful walking before descending
to the edge of Kathmandu |

» Helambu Trek (07 Days) |
|
Helambu about 72 Kms Northeast of
Kathmandu is noted for its scenic Grandeur and Pleasant
Climate. The Helambu region, extending from the
north of Taramarang to the tree limit of the Gosaikund
Lake and lower slope of jugal Himal, has several
highland Tamang and Sherpa Villages, Scattered on
both sides of the Malemchi Khola. This trek is rated
as an easier trek because the elevations are lower,
ranging from 800 Mts and 3600 Mts, which indicates
less climbing and warmer temperatures. One advantage
to this trek is there are fewer trekkers here than
on the Annapurna trek and some parts of the Everest
Trek, but there is still a Wide range of cultures
and spectacular scenery. |

Jugal Himal Trek (12 Days) |

To the North east of Kathmandu
lies a chain of peaks Called Jugal Himal, Which
Includes Dorje lakpa (6966 Mts), Madiya (6257
Mts) and Phurbi Chhyachu (6637 Mts). This trek
Starts from the large Bazaar of Chautaara (1410
Mts), descending to the Balephi Khola and then
follows a ridge to Bhirav Kund. This is a remote
and Unfrequented Region, despite it’s proximately
to Kathmandu.Treks in this area Involves lot of
climbing on Narrow trails. There are afew Villages
and No hotels on this route and Water is very
scarce on this Ridge. |
